Welcome to our 2017 Mission Trip homepage! We are thankful for our volunteers, our prayer partners, and the people who donated items and money to make this trip possible. Our trip this year was February 28 - March 7, 2017. We delivered donated items, painted the dining hall and kitchen, installed a weather station, volunteered in the school, fixed the lights and took the girls on a field trip to Paraiso Beach in Omoa. We welcomed everything GOD led us to do. Most importantly, we worked with all the girls in the home to give them confidence, hope, and reassurance that they are competent, smart, beautiful, lovable people.

Other highlights included:

• Visits from Paola, Maribel, Maricruz, Raquel, and Ana
• Touring the new transition apartments
• Supporting the Holy Family Bilingual School Senior Class by taking our group and 40 girls to the Senior Class' fund raiser at Pizza Hut
• Donating a garbage disposal and an Adirondack chair for the new transition apartments
• Donating a popcorn machine and 3 WhirlyPop stovetop poppers
• Watching movies on the cancha
• Throwing a birthday party
• Riding on the bus taking the girls to school every morning
• Taking a group of the younger girls swimming at the hospitality house

DONATIONS: We are in need of items to donate to the home. We take duffle bags and deliver donated items to the home each time we visit. Any of the following items are greatly appreciated:

• White bobby socks (for the school uniforms)
• Dark biker shorts (to wear under the skirt)
• White bras
• White camisoles (to wear under the uniform blouse)
• White tennis shoes
• Black school shoes
• Ink cartridges for OLR office printers - Canon 211 (black ink), Canon 210 (color ink)
• Inkjet photo paper
