Facts and Maps Verrettes is about 3 hours North from Port-au-Prince. Canneau is a small village that is separated from Verrettes by a small hill and lies about 5 minutes from the center of the main town. A single dirt road runs along a canal which divides the village. towards the North end of the road there is a water control structure that was installed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the George W. Bush administration
